Jasper, Texas is located approximately 15 miles south of Lake Sam Rayburn. Most of the Lake Sam Rayburn is either in Jasper Independent School District, home of the Jasper Bulldogs and 2007 3A Region 3 Baseball State Champions, or Brookeland Independent School District.
