Sam was born in Houston, raised in Hillister, and received his BBA from Lamar University before moving to Sam Rayburn. He is married to Brenda Job with 2 children, Jennifer, who is an attorney at Provost Umphrey in Beaumont, and is married to Joshua Seale, DDS, and a son, Thomas, deceased in 2002. Sam just welcomed his first grandchild, Magnolia Jane Seale into the family. Sam chose real estate as a profession originally working with friends and stuck with it because he enjoys working with people and being able to live in a beautiful rural area. Brenda Johnson Job grew up in Burnet in central Texas, before moving to Sam Rayburn. She met and married Sam the same year that they began their own business, Rayburn Realty. Since October of 1979 Sam and Brenda have been devoted to making their living and raising their family in the Forest Country of East Texas. The Jobs raised two children, Jennifer, now an attorney in Beaumont and married to Dr. J. Joshua Seale. In 2002, they lost their beautiful son, Thomas to non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Brenda just welcomed the arrival of her first grandchild, Magnolia Jane Seale.Rayburn Realty began with the two of them in a small mobile home office located near Piney Point Plaza to their present location at the corner of Recreational Road 255 W and FM Hwy 1007 with 7 licensed Realtors. Always active in the communities of Sam Rayburn and Jasper, Brenda served as a member, Vice President and President of the Jasper ISD Board of Trustees for 12 years. She also is active in her church, First Baptist in Jasper, where she coaches Upward basketball and teaches 4 year old Sunday School. She currently serves as Vice President for the Jasper Area Board of Realtors, has finished the education and is working on the prerequisites for her designation as a Accredited Buyer's Representative.
