Sam was born in Houston, raised in Hillister, and received his BBA from Lamar University before moving to Sam Rayburn. He is married to Brenda and they have 2 children, Jennifer, who is an attorney, and is married to Joshua Seale, Sam Rayburn's own DDS, and a son, Thomas who died of Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2002. Sam enjoys doing anything with his family, but mostly his granddaughter, Magnolia Jane Seale. Sam chose real estate as a profession originally working with friends and stuck with it because he enjoys working with people and being able to live in a beautiful rural area. He has served in many leadership positions in the community, Lake Rayburn Fire Department, Jasper County Fire District, Jasper Area Board of Realtors, First National Bank Advisory Board Member, Rayburn Country Club Board of Directors, Sky Ranch children's camp and many more! Sam has dealt exclusively with the Lake Sam Rayburn/Jasper area for over 40 years and has millions of dollars in sales. Brenda Johnson Job grew up in Burnet in central Texas, before moving to Sam Rayburn. She met and married Sam the same year that they began their own business, Rayburn Realty. Since October of 1979 Sam and Brenda have been devoted to making their living and raising their family in the Forest Country of East Texas. The Jobs raised two children, Jennifer, now an attorney in Beaumont and married to Dr. J. Joshua Seale. In 2002, they lost their beautiful son, Thomas to non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Brenda welcomed the arrival of her first grandchild, Magnolia Jane Seale in 2011. Rayburn Realty began with the two of them and has grown to the present location at the corner of Recreational Road 255 W and FM Hwy 1007 with 6 licensed Realtors. Always active in the communities of Sam Rayburn and Jasper, Brenda served as a member, Vice President and President of the Jasper ISD Board of Trustees for 12 years. She also is active in her church, First Baptist in Jasper, where she has coached Upward basketball and taught 4 year old Sunday School. She has served as President for the Jasper Area Board of Realtors for 2011, 2012 and 2013, and is an Accredited Buyer's Representative.
